Rebecca Skrifvars, MA is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in the state of Washington (#LF60297280). She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior and went on to receive a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. Her experience includes individual, couple, family, and group therapy with adolescents, teens, and adults. She has been working in the mental health field since 2005 and specializing in eating disorders since 2008. Rebecca is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.
Rebecca's treatment approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy and incorporates mindfulness approaches and acceptance and commitment therapy. She has received training in various settings including the VA San Diego, residential and partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient treatment centers, and specialty outpatient practice. Rebecca also provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals seeking hours towards full licensure or clinical consultation for those looking to specialize in the field of eating disorders.
